Wednesday; "Hump" day; the day of the week on which all of my first three babies arrived into this world, and the large "humps" that I had been carrying turned wobbly. And now it comes round for the first time since that last Wednesday birth, Wednesday 26 February. A date which has become full of the things that should have been as we reflect back on the things that have been. Filled with immense love, joy and gratefulness, hand in hand with indescribable heartache, sorrow and yearning.
Happy 6th birthday my boy, growing so fast in ways I never imagined six years ago. Always teaching me, surprising me and developing me. By my side, every step of the way. Thank you, Thomas.
